Things to Look Forward To

I think this will be a short post.

Well, for those of you who don't know, tomorrow is one of the most exciting days of the year.
No, it's not my birthday. I haven't been very excited about my birthday in recent years.
It's not Casimir Pulaski Day, either. I'm pretty sure that doesn't even exist.
So that can only mean one thing: NINTENDO PRESS CONFERENCE. At E3.

Oh.
I suppose I should explain myself to those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about (which is, on average, 90% of everyone). E3, which at one point was an abbreviation of "Electronic Entertainment Expo" was this huge event where game developers announced all kinds of awesome new stuff. Unfortunately, at one point (I think it was two years ago, but I don't remember... some time recently, anyway) they decided to make the dumb, unexplainable, much-complained-about, nobodylikedit alteration to make the event closed to the media.
And I never got to go before that, and now I never will.
But anyhow.
The point is, it's still pretty cool, even if they can't (or shouldn't, at least) even call it an "exposition" anymore. Developers still announce cool stuff, and through the wonders of the Internet, everyone hears about it approximately four minutes and thirty-eight seconds before the words escape their mouths.
Today is the Microsoft conference. My computer won't run any new games, so I don't care much about that right now. But tomorrow they will hold the conferences for Nintendo and Sony. As I have already stated, I'm very excited for the Nintendo press conference. I'm hoping they have many crazy games they're going to unveil tomorrow.

Anyway, another thing I'm looking forward to is The Dark Knight, which is coming to theaters near you on July 18th. Sequel to the critically acclaimed Batman Begins, The Dark Knight is, in the words of...
Oh, sorry.
They really aren't paying me to do that.
But seriously, I would like to see that movie. A lot.
Except I hardly ever get to see movies. So some of you lot are going to have to kidnap me, and we can go see it. Yep.

In other news, I have power now. Administrative* power.
I think you will remember (well, some of you will) that I designed the new Egoboo website.
Well, now I get to maintain it, too.
It may not sound like a big deal to any of you (it really isn't), but I think it's pretty nifty; it'll be something nice to do, and I'll do my best to make sure it actually gets updated now.

*Administrate, n.
1. To have large amounts of power over things that are inanimate and/or inconsequential, resulting in great responsibility and potential for blame, while having no actual people under one's control.

That's it for today.
I should really post more often (yes, I think I do say that in every post).

Yeah, I watched the stream of Nintendo's conference on Nintendo's website. It was good, but it wasn't great. Some of the games sound interesting, even though I probably won't buy ANY of them. The best part was when the showed all of the facts that Nintendo is owning everybody in the video game industry. And it's funny cuz everybody makes fun of Nintendo, but they're better than EVERYBODY.
